Are you looking to make a difference in the lives of students? Are you subbing but looking for something more consistent? Huntington Learning Center is hiring dynamic phonics and reading tutors to teach small groups at the elementary level, in person at Dayton-area schools during the school day. This is NOT a remote position. You must have at least a bachelor's degree.

Position Details:

• Part-Time: 20-35 hours a week, Monday through Friday, hours and days may vary based on school schedule.
• Location: Dayton, OH.
• Elementary School-aged students, ELA.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Prior teaching and/or tutoring experience preferred.
• Valid teaching certificate preferred but not required.

Compensation:

• With Bachelor's Degree: $25.00 per hour.
• With valid Teaching Certification: Up to $30.00 per hour, commensurate with credentials and experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Utilize Huntington Learning Center's instructional procedures and curriculum.
• Work with the Lead Teacher and Program Director to implement instructional programs.
• Follow school policies and procedures; supervise students at all times.
• Maintain student records of attendance and progress.
• Administer baseline tests at established intervals.

• Possess basic computer operating knowledge.
• Clear background checks and employment eligibility.
