When you work for Sciolex Corporation, you are working for a stable company that values you and is committed to ensuring you receive the utmost employee care.ResponsibilitiesThe Driver Courier is a permanent, full-time position supporting the overall mission of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) by facilitating the operations of a local Field Office. As a Driver Courier, your responsibilities would include:Driving trucks, vans, or other type government vehicles to deliver messages, documents, packages, and mail to various Government agencies and business concernsTransporting office personnel and performing miscellaneous errands such as carrying mail to and from the post office and sorting or opening incoming and outgoing mailObtaining receipts for articles delivered and keep a log of items received and deliveredEnsuring that materials are delivered to location designated by instructions and follow all additional written instructions associated with the delivery of the materialsAssisting with office file work (maintenance, scanning, shelving, auditing) work when not working a delivery routeOther duties as assignedQualifications & Physical RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentValid Driver's LicenseMust be able to obtain a Public Trust/Suitability Clearance under the Department of Homeland Security from the United States Citizenship and Immigration ServicesAbility to read and understand proficiently in EnglishAbility to lift and carry up to 45 lbs. or more in a physical environmentAbility to perform tasks while bending, stooping, climbing, and reachingAt Sciolex Corporation, our top priorities and most valuable resources are our employees, which is why we offer a competitive total compensation package.
